What is LED
It ‘s able to convert electrical energy into visible light.
LED display is a flat panel display that uses an array of light emitting diodes (LED) as the light source. The LED controller and control system, control the light up and brightness of each LED pixel to create the color & brightness differences to form images and videos on the LED display.
Different production package ways , there are following common LEDs in the market .
DIP:Dual Inline Package, for outdoor use only , high brightness energy saving
SMD:Surface Mounted Technology , for indoor and outdoor use , it is the market mainstream LEDs.
IMD: Integrated Matrix Devices, for indoor fine pitch use , not the mainstream tech.
GOB: Glue on board , indoor use , transitional tech. between SMD and COB, cost effectiveness
COB :Chip on board, indoor use , the future mainstream by cost lower down and production technology improve.
